Meagan Brothers signs the very first issues of Weird Girl and What's His Name.

This weekend's Brooklyn Book Festival was an overwhelming success! Over at the Three Rooms Press table, we SOLD OUT of Weird Girl and What's His Name, and author Meagan Brothers met with some wonderful fans and signed so many books. It was great seeing old friends and new stop by the table to talk books, writing, and community. I met some lovely new writers and incredible editors from all over the publishing world. Other highlights included holding a 1956 issue of The Paris Review in which Ernest Hemingway was interviewed; discovering the reading community House of Speakeasy; and buying an issue of Armchair/Shotgun, a beautiful, full-color, art and literary journal, which I cannot wait to keep reading (I couldn't wait; I got started on the train home). All in all, another great festival; looking forward to a great new year of books!
